What is Buffer Solution ?

A solution that resists a change in pH when a small amount of a strong acid or a strong base is added to it is called a buffer solution and this mechanism is known as buffer action.

Example of Buffer Solution:

Blood in the human body buffered at the pH 7.4,even we consume large amount of weak acid and base.
