The arrangement of electrons in various subshells ( s p d f) is called electronic configuration.

Subshells are s p d and f .

s subshell occupy a maximum of 2 electrons.

p subshell occupy a maximum of 6 electrons.

d subshell occupy a maximum of 10 electrons.

f subshell occupy a maximum of 14 electrons.
